1. Information stored locally on your device
The App stores the following on your device only, in the App's private storage:
- Habits you create (name, icon, color, category, frequency, target, reminder time, time-tracking settings)
- Completion history (dates and counts of completions for each habit)
- Daily mood and motivation entries
- Custom templates and categories you create
- Achievement unlocks
- App settings (notifications, sounds, haptics, sound choice, app icon, color theme preference)
- Your in-app purchase / subscription status, as reported by Apple's StoreKit
This data never leaves your device through HabitPhase.
2. Information we (the developer) receive
None directly from you. We do not run servers and do not receive any of the data above.
The only information we may receive comes through Apple's standard developer reports:
- App Store Connect Analytics (aggregate, anonymized): downloads, opens, retention. Not tied to individuals.
- App Store Connect Sales Reports (purchases): aggregate purchase counts by region. Apple does not share user identity with us.
- Crash reports (only if you have "Share with App Developers" enabled in iOS Settings → Privacy → Analytics & Improvements): anonymized crash diagnostics. You can disable this at any time.
3. iCloud Backup
If you have iCloud Backup enabled in your iOS device settings, your HabitPhase data may be included in your iCloud backup, controlled entirely by you and Apple. We never access or receive these backups.
4. Notifications
The App can send you local notifications based on the reminder times you set. These notifications are scheduled and delivered entirely on your device by iOS. We do not send push notifications and do not have a server to do so.
5. Apple StoreKit and subscriptions
When you purchase HabitPhase Pro, Apple processes the transaction. We receive an aggregate sales report from Apple but no personal payment details. Apple's privacy policy applies to the transaction itself: apple.com/legal/privacy.
6. Children
The App is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any personal information.
7. Third parties
The App does not include any third-party SDKs, analytics, advertising, or tracking. There are no integrations with social networks or any external services beyond Apple's standard iOS frameworks.
8. Data retention and deletion
Because we do not collect data, there is nothing for us to retain or delete. To delete your HabitPhase data, simply delete the App from your device. iOS will remove all locally stored data along with the App.
9. Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the "Effective" date above and post the new policy at the same URL.
